Trump is going to become our next president. Thanks, DNC.

Kinja'd!!!

This will be the face of America for the next four years.

Despite every single warning sign, the DNC, with their heads up their asses, continued to rig the vote towards HRC, the one Democratic candidate who statistically stands no chance against The Annoying Orange.

“Rig the vote”? How many votes did Bernie Sanders get in the primaries? 12.0 million. How many votes did Hillary Clinton get? 15.8 million. How did the DNC manage to twist all those would-be Sanders voters’s arms so they’d vote for Clinton instead?

Apart from the idea of Donald Trump presiding over World War III, what really bugs me about the prospect of a Trump presidency is all of the gloating we’ll have to listen to for rest of his life.

The evil ho in charge of the party made sure Bernie didn’t get any media exposure. Moving the debates to times she knew nobody would watch. Making up fake stories of Bernie supporters turning violent (like the Nevada delegate meeting). it’s so bad that she’s resigning after the convention. Check this out. The email shit didn’t really get bad until Bernie posed a serious threat to Hillary’s coronation.

Superdelegates had already chosen Hillary before anybody decided to run for president in 2016.

The evidence of the e-mails suggests that she was in favor of clinton - there weren’t any e-mails to show any nefarious plots or dealings that she did to get HRC elected.

The debates have to be agreed upon by all parties involved, so Sanders’ campaign agreed to the debate times. Nothing was made up about the Nevada delegation meeting either, the woman received literally hundreds of death threats in both text and call form to her cell phone that was posted to social media by a Sanders supporter on Twitter.

There’s also the fact that the DNC hasn’t held any real power since Obama was elected into office as he created his own parallel organizational structure and didn’t rely on the DNC for the last 8 years. Anyone who believes they’re actually capable of manipulating anything doesn’t realize how little power they actually wield.

Contrast with the RNC. BIG difference between Debbie and Reince!

They don’t really like Trump either, but they were MUCH more fair than the DNC. They don’t even have superdelegates, even though they probably wish they did.

The party is not supposed to favor any candidate—they’re supposed to be neutral! Using the media to wield that influence IS rigging the election!

Sanders got 43% of the vote. A few big states worth of votes. He didn’t lose by a wide margin at all.

If the 20,000 documents and emails of dirt are any indication, then it’s 110% possible that the DNC’s meddling could have cost Sanders the nomination.

Fun fact: Most young people hate both Trump and Hillary. Most recent complete polling (before the DNC/RNC) shows that about only 40% of registered voters of either party like their nominee. Contrast that to the 2008 election, where 73% of registered Dems loved Obama.

Seriously, this is why Bernie got as far as he did and why Stein and Johnson are polling so high...we’re sick of the bullcrap.

Kinja'd!!! spanfucker retire bitch > dogisbadob

The party is not supposed to act in favor of any candidate, and I’ve yet to see any evidence in the leaked e-mails to show that the DNC actively worked in favor of HRC. An individual is allowed to hold an opinion - they are human afterall. It’d be foolish to think there were members of the DNC that didn’t prefer one candidate over the other.

My problem with DWS was that she’s a sitting Congressman which is just weird for a DNC chair, and the fact that I just much don’t like her policy positions as she’s pushing for further deregulation of the pay-day loan banking, despite being one of, if not the only Democrat in Congress to actually want to do that.

Kinja'd!!! spanfucker retire bitch > Mercedes Streeter

And yet young people don’t vote, which is also a huge reason why Sanders lost. Not to mention the fact that his appeal was mostly to the younger white voters. Not entirely obviously, but the more racially diverse the electorate in the state, the higher the votes were for Hillary.

The fact is, Hillary won with an electorate that voted for her in higher numbers that actually looks like both the American and Democratic electorate.

But the point still stands, she didn’t demolish Sanders. The margin is within the range that a bit of fuckery could have swayed it.

Oh and in response to what you said to someone else: here’s Guccifer 2.0's site. There are tons of early primary emails between DNC staffers and a few between the HRC campaign where they were collaborating with the media to limit all bad press against HRC.

https://guccifer2.wordpress.com

The more recent hacks contain documents where the DNC ordered negative press against Sanders to be spread, including the total fabrication that Sanders supporters threw chairs in Nevada.

I’m not going to say HRC is a crook, but it’s clear the DNC was not impartial at all.

Kinja'd!!! lone_liberal > TheHondaBro

Sanders lost. Did the DNC unfairly favor Clinton? Yes. Should those responsible be punished? Yes. Did it cost Sanders the nomination? His spokeswoman doesn’t think so . It’s like Sanders supporters have never lost an election before. Now let’s look at why maybe the Democratic Party would favor a woman who has worked her entire life for the Democratic Party over somebody who didn’t even run as a Democrat when running for the Senate. Right? No. Understandable? Maybe.

The margin is within the range that a bit of fuckery could have swayed it.

I mean, honestly, it wasn’t. She won by millions of votes and an absolutely huge delegate lead. She could have lost California 70-30 and she still would have captured the vast majority of the delegates (even excluding Supers) simply because every state primary for the Democrats is proportional - none of that winner take all nonsense the Republicans do. So even in states she lost to Sanders, she still made up ground.

I haven’t read through all the e-mails but I still take everything with a grain of salt that comes from that. It’s pretty clear now that Putin and the Russians are trying to ratfuck our elections.

We both can agree on the Trump/Putin thing though. It doesn’t matter how much of it is fake (obviously some of it is real because the DNC admits to being hacked, but can’t keep their story straight as to what was taken), if Trump did collaborate with Putin, I have no idea what the hell could result of that.

That’s rubbish, and you know it.

A 14% spread isn’t close, it’s a blowout. As a candidate, he did real good, but not quite good enough. And please note before you start shouting “Goldman Sachs!
